I’m using a Rogers branded HTC Touch (a Windows Mobile device), and I went to Rogers.com and saw a Windows Mobile unlimited email plan for $15/month. So I called up Rogers and got a rep named “Lora” who said this Windows Mobile plan is for Blackberries only.
I guess if you’re the only GSM provider in the country, you can do business like this.

As of yesterday I already sold my HTC Touch, haha, and I just bought an iPhone… it’s still in transit…. but I think if I could use the Touch for a month and find it tolerable to OK, I think I’ll like the iPhone… especially since the iPhone SDK is out, there should be tons of applications available for it soon.
How’s the HP one? I thought it’s bigger/thicker than I’d like so I didn’t have a good look at it. (I always shove my phone into my trousers……. so I like it thinner.)
Hm…. I DON’T think blackberries look cool bor… a small squarey screen on top of 30 buttons…. nah…
Heh, so now you see that I don’t have many choices eh? A thin touchscreen smartphone that feels fast, and without a GPS (I have no use for GPS… maps are enough)
